Dr. Michele Hager
Dr. Michele Hager joined Buckeye Optical as an independent doctor of optometry in 2011. She finished an undergraduate degree at Connecticut College and attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry for her doctoral education. At OSU, she also completed a two-year postgraduate fellowship in the area of Cornea and Contact Lenses and earned a master’s degree in Vision Science.
Dr. Hager has practiced optometry in an ophthalmic surgeons’ office, in a retail setting, and has instructed optometry students in learning to care for their own patients. She has found private practice at Buckeye Optical to be the most enjoyable and effective way to care for patients.
In addition to primary care optometry, including the fitting of soft and gas permeable contact lenses and the management of medical conditions of the eye, Dr. Hager provides office and home-based vision therapy for the treatment common binocular vision disorders.
Dr. Hager moved to Ohio for optometry school and stayed. She is married with one child.
