Dr. Kelly L. Bruch
Dr. Kelly L. Bruch has been an optometrist at Buckeye Optical since it was established in 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Indiana University School of Optometry. She also completed a postgraduate residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Indiana University School of Optometry.
Dr. Bruch’s practice focuses on primary eye care and diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease for the entire family. She not only specializes in contact lens management, including bifocal and specialty contact lens fits, but also ocular surface disease diagnosis and dry eye therapy. Long interested in refractive surgery, she herself had LASIK in 2005 and now co-manages refractive surgery patients in our office.
Dr. Bruch is an member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. She is a past-president of the Central Ohio Optometric Association, the local chapter of the Ohio Optometric Association, and also held the offices of Secretary and Trustee for the COOA.
Dr. Bruch is married and has two stepsons. She grew up in St. Louis, MO, and relocated to Ohio with her husband in 2000.
Dr. Kristen Cursaro
Dr. Kristen Cursaro attended The Ohio State University and achieved a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. She continued her studies at The Ohio State University where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the College of Optometry in 1999. She completed a residency program in ocular disease management and visual rehabilitation at the West Side VA and Edward Hines, Jr VA hospital in Chicago, IL. She began practicing at Buckeye Optical in 2007. She took several years off to raise her son and returned to work in 2016.
Dr. Nidhi Satiani
Dr. Nidhi Satiani is excited to be a member of the Buckeye Optical team. She has practiced in a variety of settings including teaching at Ohio State, in retail settings, with ophthalmology, with other optometrists, and on various research projects. She chose to join the Buckeye Optical team because she believes each member of this team is passionate about taking care of patients, first and foremost.
She moved to Central Ohio from NE Ohio to complete her undergraduate, optometric and vision science degrees at The Ohio State University in Columbus. Her fellowship was in Cornea and Contact Lenses and her thesis was on treating Dry Eye Syndrome with fish oil supplementation. Her commitment to excellence was recognized when she was inducted as a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. As a fellow, she is active in the Nutrition, Disease Prevention, and Wellness Special Interest Group, serving as its secretary.
She prides herself on providing a comprehensive exam in a relaxed environment where she has the ability to get to know her patients and their visual needs. She is passionate about the link between a healthy body and healthy eyes and looks forward to helping you see the world more clearly.
